Representation of a Cutting Horse and Rider with Abstract Elements
Cutting Horse Competition in the United States includes professional and amateur divisions. Horses are bred and trained for agility and “cow-sense”. In competitions the horse and rider separate (cut) a cow from a group of cattle and show expertise in preventing the separated cow from immediately returning to the herd. The sporting event continues to gain popularity among competitors and has recently spread to Europe.
