Desert (California) Quail #1 (California Quail are prevelent in California, Arizona and other Southwest States) 
The quail are in acrylic on Oak wood salvaged from discarded furniture.  The entire piece is constructed utilizing salvaged Poplar and Pine wood.  The Poplar slats in the callage have been painted or varnished.  Acrylic mediums have also been used to develop textural elements.
